Consultation

Consultation is an important part of MTO’s Class EA process, and we want to hear from you. The Study Team has developed a comprehensive consultation program that will:

• Provide the public with project information so that they can participate in the Study.

• Post project notices and the Transportation Environmental Study Report (TESR) on the Project website.

• Provide opportunities for the public to ask questions, submit comments and/or request information.

• Respond to all input received.

Online Public Information Centre

An online Public Information Centre (PIC) was held from Monday, November 27 to Sunday, December 10, 2023 to present the recommended plan of the proposed Highway 40 improvements and provide an opportunity for public input for consideration on the Study. The Notice of Online PIC is available in the link below (under “Notices”) and was advertised in the Sarnia Observer and Sarnia Lambton This Week on Thursday, November 23, 2023. In addition, the Notice was distributed via direct and/or electronic mail to residents, businesses, those on the Study’s mailing list and area property owners.
